The game can no longer recognize my monitor. There is no entry selectable in the Select Monitor field in the launcher and the log file shows a corresponding crash. Then it freezes all input, I have to sign out or restart via Ctrl-Alt-Del. The problem appeared today after Windows 10 installed the Fall Creators Update. Note I have the Steam version installed. Looks like someone is having a similar problem on this steam thread: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/1480982971174752598/ The solution was: Maybe this will fix it?
Thanks, that fixed the problem for me. Perhaps it can be added to the FAQ for others who encounter the same problem? As for why did Microsoft decide to mess with third party driver options as part of the update, that beats me...
