    New feature idea:
In a nutshell: Collect things that appear randomly and combine them in a correct order.

    Detailed explanation:
    - Apart from all the fixed cube drops, rainbow balls spawning at intervals, etc, there will be completely randomly appearing things (they can be whatever you want, like colored cubes, cubes with letters inside, ...) and they float around the screen for a minute. You have to manually click them on purpose, autoclick does not hit them.
    - When you click them they get added to a bar, like an inventory if you want. You need to collect a certain amount in the right order to unlock a cool event, like x10 damage for 60 seconds, x100 gold for 30 seconds, .... . Depending on the difficulty to gather the events should get stronger. Maybe have tier 1,2,3,... that make the combinations longer but keep them similar to the lower tiers of each category. (Tier 1: red-blue-green, Tier 2: red-red-blue-blue-green-green,...).
    - The events should not start automatically but have to be activated by the player, so he can control when to use the effect. For example saving it for the boss or to combine it with the active abilities.
    - If you collect a wrong thing you have to trash the complete inventory and start from scratch.
    - The inventory gets trashed automatically on every timewarp so you have to choose to either wait for a random appearance of the correct last item to finish your combination or to timewarp at some point.
    - The correct combinations are unknown until someone finds and shares them with others (community interaction! spreadsheets! hooray! ;) ) (not necessarily since it could get frustrating at some point...)

Comparison: Runewords from Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction. Who does remember good old "Jah-Ith-Ber"? ;)

    Suggestion:

    Cheat-Mode

I know it sounds strange and completle idiotical but i really appriciate the fact when you can screw around with the things in a game.

So basicley my Idea i like somthing you can click on if you have collectet your first 10k time Cubes, because then you know the hard work it takes to get these Litle bastarts ( yes time cubes are little bastarts... )
When you activate the Cheat mode you will be expelled from the Highscore list until you reset the game.

It will activate the Cheat interface where you cann add some Recources like-
    --> Zone
    --> Additional Time Cubes
    --> Additional Weapon Cubes
--> How fast the time Went
--> Creat up to 3 New Abilities with a Suggestion-Button, to send you the Ability you made for Suggestions^^
--> Overskill Abiltys so you can go up to 1 enemy per round

    Things like that...

I know is much to ask but it would bring the child in me much of fun

Sorry for my english... Its not the yellow of the egg ;)

Ah, I figured it wouldn't be that easy... Good to know that it's being constantly monitored, though!

Speaking of easy, it has come to my attention that the PC version could also use a high-contrast, custom cursor; the default Windows graphic is both too tiny and barely noticeable when the chaos unleashed via abilities and click launcher arises. I can't imagine this would take more than a couple of hours (or maybe less than one) to draw/code and it would add some more personality to the game.

I fully agree with the underlined part there. I keep losing track of my cursor when I unleash the abilities. So I don't know where I'm aiming unless I keep idle mode on. Having an idea which of the crosshairs I'm actively controlling would be nice, like a different color instead of white that can stand out. Purple, Red, Teal, or Orange to name a few color choices.

There's already a custom cursor in the game (Settings Custom Crosshair). When not in idle mode you get a crosshair for the color of Click Weapon you are targeting for. If all Click Weapons are using Idle Mode than it's a large arrow 8(similar to Windows default crosshair but bigger).

Really? Wow...I feel great about myself right now... I guess this just proves that I've both the intellectual power of a quark and the eyesight/observational prowess rivaling that of an Earthworm. (In my defense, though that option isn't there on the mobile version... I didn't say it was a strong defense.)

Perhaps that should be checked by default then? That way, other mobile immigrants don't take time out of development to have this pointed out to them.

    = 3 Hours Pass =

After getting a chance to use it, I'm deeply ashamed to admit that I'm (Somehow.) still losing track of the cursor/crosshairs more frequently than I care to admit, even when the Post Screen Effects are off. (I blame Spread Shot, seeing as how it throws off my concept of center.) It only happens when I'm manually aiming, though, the massive Idle arrow stands out fine. I don't see the sense in changing something for the benefit of a single individual, seeing as how this is only a problem to me, but if other users mention it, here are some ideas to counteract it.

    1. Toggle white inversion on the crosshairs.
    2. Have the massive arrow active in place of the normal sight
    3. Implement the ability to change the Click Pistol's bullet color
    4. Change the color of the outer Spread Shot streams to make the center stand out more.
    5. Color Blind Mode! I don't have it, nor does the gameplay rely solely on color, But I doubt it would go unappreciated.

Again, I wouldn't bother unless there are at least 7 or 10 others who mention this.

Proposal: Add an artifact that increases the chance of a wave full of rainbow blocks.

Just realised that there isn't any way to make waves like that appear more often. I am not sure what the chance of such a wave to appear is as it is as well ( what did i just write? o_O) . Anyway... it doesnt have to be game breaking. Can be a bit expensive and not worth much if you are doing fast runs.

But on Deep runs where the gold is more important than time or :timecube:/:weaponcube: it oculd be a very strong boost when you are stuck farming a wave for the next upgrade.

The artifact cold be placed on top of the monsters per wave(with a little redo of the UI i guess).

And thats it for my morning worries!

    I've thought of more stuff:

Idea the First: A counter that tells you how many cubes are left in an enemy.

Idea the Second: Another counter. This one shows a 3 point perspective rendering of the last cube you shot at and tells you its current health alongside the amount of money within it.

Idea the Third: Prioritize team targeting. Have them target the weakest blocks first, gradually moving up to the yellow. (Though, the randomization makes them feel more...alive?)

Idea the Fourth: Have the silhouette of the block beneath the Click Launcher's explosion be visible during said event, that way, we can actually see what they're aiming at.

Idea the Fifth: Give the Artifacts tab another purpose outside of explaining the purpose of artifacts. I'm not sure what could be added, but it currently feels rather under-utilized. (The Achievements and Statistics tabs are both fun to visit. You only need to see the Artifacts tab once.)

I think I'm done now... Think.

Since this thread is for thoughts, as well as suggestions, and experiences. I feel like I should leave something other than ideas that sound like thinly-veiled complaints (Sorry about that.), namely: compliments!

I have played many a clicker "Game" and thus far, this one is the only title that I would actually consider a "game". Not only that, but a rather fun one as well! Whereas most idle programs have an astonishingly low amount of interactivity beyond mindlessly inducing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, this one stands out because of the multiple targets per enemy and the ability to aim. You wouldn't think it, but the latter points make all the difference when it comes to crossing the threshold from "Over-glorified Screensaver" to "Interactive Software".

Due to their inclusion, the interactivity factor has leaped over "Stare at screen until thing dies. Repeat.' and provided a sense of accomplishment: you brought down that armada of cubes, not some ticking counter. Furthermore, since it matters where you fire, there is a form of challenge Present that doesn't owe its existence to ridiculously high paywalls. As you can fire anywhere, a tactical element also exists; If you cannot bring an enemy down, you can use skill and strategy to dismantle it, rather than relying on time and patience to do it for you. That reminds me: the progression is fairly smooth, with the amount of goods :)gold:, :timecube:, and :weaponcube:) given to you at a fairly agreeable pace. No waiting 4 1/2 days to get 1 level up, one which---might I add---barely makes a difference.

In addition to all of this, it's all Presented in a wonderfully geometric graphical package and ultra friendly UI. Not only have you made an "idle" (You really can't let this run in the background/play itself, which is good.) game that I don't absolutely despise, but one I actually enjoy playing. Well done!

Gold Tree, right hand column, second from top. Increases the chance of a rainbow enemy appearing from 5% to 10%, 1% per level. It isn't that expensive either, so it is a realistic goal to achieve.

    Hi,

    i would appreciate 2 small improvements :)

    1) Auto targeting of weapons is really nice, but when it comes to bosses sometimes it's really bad. Change here: Target boss cubes always after clearing all other cubes and always by all weapons (click pistol and click launcher) at the same time.

    2) The redo process gets kinda boring in the very late game. You want to change something or try a new strategy and it takes you 5 minutes to go through wave 1-100 again before you can warp with the new skill tree. Change here: Throw in a weapon cube upgrade (can be expensive) that lets you either: warp whenever you want (even without any new time cubes) or (imho nicer) add a function that lets you decrease spent skill points and refund time cubes.

These changes would make late game a lot nicer and shouldn't be so hard to implement :)

    Kind regards
    Ottest

for me, improving the branch "damage" is not meaningful enough.

we can put 10, 15 levels in each of the weapons, it will be still stuck at the same point ...

if I stop my game to level I or blocks (say the 1999) I cut the game, returning the next morning, I will have quasiement not won gold since the dps of my weapons does nothing compared to the rest (click dmg)

    sry for translation

I like the implemented chance of the rainbow enemy and I think the addition of a time cube enemy would be fun.

I would change the level mechanics up a bit to make it different than everything else we see.

I would spawn the level randomly between boss levels. It would reward some scale of the current boss tier. I would then add a time limit, but unlike a boss, the level advances after the time limit. Therefore, you have to race the clock to collect as many bonus time cubes as you can. Unlike the rainbow enemy which is typically a fast kill, this would "wake up" the player when it happens. And it sounds fun to me.

This could open up some more artifacts for the progress tree to balance it more with the others. You could also include an artifact to provide a chance for a time-cube boss.

Other random ideas for progress artifacts:
Time warp cubes - non-mandatory Cube that would jump you to the next boss - but holds the hp of the level so only useful when you overpower it and are wasting time anyway

Ability cubes - Cubes that give you X seconds of an active ability when destroyed. Ability cube enemies would also make an interesting boost.

Chain cubes - numbered cubes which are killed in order to provide active players with an advantage over high level bosses they couldn't otherwise pass. Kind of like the "critical spots" for bosses in some FPS games.

Explosive cubes - Damage cubes around it when killed. Could make some chain reaction designs that clear the level or a nuke cube that rarely spawns.

Community cubes - reskin cubes based on leaderboards when someone is on the same level as you. Might also provide some "team-work" boost, it would be interesting if three people got stuck on the same level and saw each other in-game and met in chat as a result. Might be demanding to implement tho.

Also, for the lack of time cube ads on steam - a time cube ball chance

Adding an additional active ability cooldown flag would be nice. Currently, we cant use active abilities during the low level part of a run as max dmg chains. - this reduces the value of cooldown reducing artifacts in my opinion. I would like to add time to the chains, pushing it out into the slower levels.

    A website improvement:

I like to watch my graphs on my profile while playing. I use them to decide when to warp.

It would be nice to optionally have them auto refresh for real time tracking.

Can you provide an option where we can choose which blocks to target for each weapon? this will help the useless particle ball weapon to be of use as we can use that option to target 'strongest block' thus benefiting from the x5/10 crit burst. Same goes for pulse pistol :)
