Tabs in HTML fields can be ordered. I essentially would give them a number and the browser will visit them in that order regardless of where they are on screen. Whenever you have strange tab experiences, its because the dev did not do this.

For the "full" concept, my design was to put the costs over the icon image - when full the cost would read full and buying more would be blocked - any numbers entered above max would be reduced to max.

As for your feedback, it's incredibly valuable to me - so please be critical. I put up this crap version specifically for feedback as I only want to build tools people will use. Honestly, I wont likely use this (lol) so the feedback is more important than ever.

As for helping, icons would be useful - I intended to take a high-res screenshot to clip from, but haven't gotten to it yet. Cropping the squares out should be good enough if anyone wants to do it or knows a wiki that has the icons I can steal from.

I will look into using something other than simple javascript and see if a better layout could be built. While its possible to make it exactly like in-game (which was the original plan) the formatting of such a table would be hellish and only desktop friendly. Obviously, companies have artists on payroll to enhance their calculators. I changed the default white background to lightblue... winning! :p

New layout, now with more purple! GoGo art direction!

    New compact stacked format
Brought the category titles into the sections
    Added weapon cube support
Incorporated the import in it's own section (the 2px overhang of this is driving me crazy)

I think that's all for today gotta get some sleep before the third shift...

The wikia page does not have good icons. I will see what I can do, although my resolution is far from high.
For the weapon augments another downside is that already maxed ones seem to change their appearance and if you cannot afford one it is darker than the ones you can afford, so we would need someone else to take a screenshot of them, with no one maxed and everyone being affordable at that moment.
If we could get our hands on the artifact/augment images directly from the devs, it would make things a lot easier :)

The new layout is very .. purplish o.o Definitely not my favorite color ^^

I think we should give others time to comment and post feedback/ideas, too. I think it's pretty nice so far and on a good way.

Ya the purple was meant as a joke in regard to my comment about changing the background to lightblue was the extent of my artistic talent.

I slipped in a minor update.

Now clicking the title of any category will reset that category to zero. A note of this was added below the import button.

The icons, the best I could do :/ The :timecube:s are okay but the :weaponcube:s could use a better original to get the right colors and symbols etc.

I like the current background :) And the possibility to reset each category by clicking the name is cool. I included the ReDo icon in the screenshots, maybe you can use that as an overall Reset button.

Looking good so far SinRopa. I feel that having the layout vertical rather than horizontal would be better though.

Even if you don't have it exactly the same as ingame, having it closer to the ingame layout would make it a lot easier to scan and lessen confusion.
Being able to look in game or a screenshot and know its the 3rd box down on the left side of the gold tree and then looking it up on your calculator will be a lot more intuitive. Getting it to work well on mobile devices would be a bit of a challenge I acknowledge, but worth it imho.

As far as what I would like in it, having a info button wth popup next to each artifact, or maybe just each category would be very useful, and not impact screen space that much so could make it ok for mobiles. Being able to know what the current price, next upgrade price of my artifacts, and any other useful stats would be invaluable when trying to work out a build. A tooltip giving info of ability would be handy as well. No idea of how easy this would be to program, or if there is a better way, but I offer it for your consideration.

I reuploaded (*) and added (+) some files:
+ :timecube:/other/Full - You mentioned that you plan to write FULL over the icons when they are full. Maybe this fits design wise.
    + :weaponcube:/other/Full - -""-
+ :weaponcube:/Click Launcher/ and :weaponcube:/Weaponcubes/*_edited - I tried to get the colors right ... I think some look a little better than yours, others a little worse, I leave the final decision to you ;)
    * :weaponcube:/Weaponcubes/:weaponcube: Spawnwave - I took another Shot when I had enough :weaponcube: to buy it so the colors are 100% original.
    * :weaponcube:/other/current :weaponcube: left - I forgot to get rid of my number there. I can imagine these images (the same in the :timecube: folder) being used in a later version when you list all costs for all the chosen artifacts/augments.

For the desktop vs mobile design thing: Who cares about mobile users? o_O ;)

There was an update last night. I've redesigned the text boxes to allow increase and decrease by click. They are also limited 0-max now.

The weapon cubes are now included in the build save. Further, the site can provide you with a hyperlink to share or save your build directly without copy / paste.

I added a new section, which will be used to display some stats on your builds. Currently the test stats are up, which include some basics and a sample "scoring" concept which will likely grow. You can also see a "Game Complete %" stat, which is simply your progress toward buying every upgrade available.

Overall, this was the best of the templates so far so it has been moved back to the default page and I will try to leave it there going forward.

    Example build share:
    http://sinropa.co.nf/?b=7&6&2&5&5&4...&5&1&47&75&10&30&5&1&3&2&23&58&22&58&47&71&81

Take a look at the updates and let me know what you think / what you would like to see. :timecube: cost calculations change in 1.3, so I've intentionally avoided using them for now.

Starting to work really work well. Like the option to share a link. Here's mine. Edit: seems to be a bug as is showing NaN for percentages after you follow the link. Possibly something to do with this forum when I pasted it as a link, as it works if follow it otherwise. Ill paste it here without using the link option.

The buttons to change the values are a little small, but they are fairly workable.
It would be nice if it showed full as the value when it hit the top spot like it did in the game, but that is only a small thing.
As I said before, I would prefer it to be laid out more like in game, but Its okay as it is as far as usability goes.
The stats page is very nice. A lot easier to discuss percentage focus of gold over damage for example than quoting numbers.
Knowing I am still only ~60% to completing the tree at current :timecube: costs is a little disheartening. But at least they are changing soon. I imagine I will still have a lot more farming if I wanted to actually max it even after, but at least I now have an idea.
Your calculator is shaping up very nice.

Thanks for the feedback. The text buttons aren't meant to be the primary method for entering data. I suggest tabbing thru and just typing them in, but I put them there to make it easier to adjust a few after a timewarp. It would be nice to see a JSON save data export on the options menu, so bug proton about it. With full save game data, I could do a lot more without having to decode saves.

'Full" icons are on the to-do board, but are tied into the :timecube: cost display - which is on hold until the 1.3 update. So thats coming.

As for the NaN, I'll look into it when I get home in the morning, but it looks like you have spaces. I see %20 in your data string. The text boxes should not allow this, but ill double check to make sure its not possible using generated links.

Now that the general idea is fairly done, I might play around with a vertical layout over my weekend.

    Cool new stuff added :)

Don't know if possible to change: The 4 categories at the bottom, "Artifacts", "Weapons" and "Boosts" have the same height but "Scores" results in a slightly bigger box but my window does not automatically scroll down again to the very bottom. I need to scroll down manually to read the lowest line. It would be more convenient if it automatically scrolls down or if the sizes of all the 4 categories are the same. I hope you get what I mean :)

Ya, it will change with more stats coming. I at least want some :timecube: spending stats as that's more valuable information - knowing the :timecube: ratios spent more than the artifact counts. Once I get some feedback on what stats people want it will be normalized so that it doesn't jump.

I'm building a companion page for it today, and depending on how that goes I will consider a complete redo of the site to deal with loading issues and the data processing for :timecube: costs.

Both sites are running fine for me. I have found some firefox issues, but in chrome all should be working. I would not expect the host to be very solid as it is free. Keep me posted on what isnt working and how often.

    Thanks
