Here's a sneak peek of the new Timeline Summary Screen which is part of the next update (which we're currently planning on releasing on Friday November 13).

Initially we wanted to change the Gold/Sec widget into a stat widget. After some experiments we decided that a screen where you could view all the stats at once was a better option than having to scroll through each stat individually.

The Timeline Summary Screen will be accessible by pressing the Time Warp button (after you've collected some :timecube:).

    This looks awesome. Very exciting.

Will the :timecube:/hour function the actual number gained in last hour? or something more like :timecube:'s gain in last 5 minutes x 12 to get:timecube:/hour

Other question would be does the:timecube:/hour stat carry across timelines.

I'm guessing the All Time Best stats will carry timelines, others not.

Regarding Fastest Runs: if I have some levels in Starting Wave artifact that let me start at wave 991, and I'll beat wave 1000 in like 30s, the best time for that wave will remain at 30s forever (or hard reset), right?

Still on 1.3.2 on mobile and still wondering if Apple will allow this update. I'm still waiting for the last update. Give your fans time to soak in new content. In other words, don't do a Scott Cawthon.

We're still working on tweaking how the /hour stats are calculated. It will be like a speedometer, taking some of the most recent stats and using that to give a more accurate view of how you're currently progressing.

Only the All Time Best /hour will be carried over after Time Warping, the Current & Best This Timeline will get reset each Time Warp.

That is correct. If you start at wave 991 and it only takes 30s to get to wave 1000 that is what will be recorded as your Best time. Would either need to beat this (take 29s to get to 1000) or do a hard reset to clear this.

Ya unfortunately the previous update (Respec) was rejected by Apple as they couldn't get the Rainbow Ball and need verification of in-game ads. So we've added the most recent update (Saved Stacked Abilities) and submitted it to Apple last Friday. We've added a on-demand ad in the Settings menu (only gives 5 min worth of gold so Rainbow Balls are better) so hopefully it will be reviewed/approved soon (still listed as Waiting for Review).

We'll submit the new release to the App Store after 1.4.1 has been reviewed, which hopefully means you'll have about 1 week to enjoy that update before you get the one with these new stats :)

We're currently trying out something like this:

    - Wait until there are 2 samples with timestamps (2 waves beat, 2 groups of Time Cubes or Weapon Cubes collected)
    - Figure out how many seconds between those 2 samples
    - Scale that difference out to an hour

Seems to be working good so far. The screenshot was using a method where we actually stored the data over the course of an hour and averaged it, pretty useless for comparing early vs late build strategies, you want as up-to-date as possible view of your build efficiency at the wave you are currently at (like a speedometer in a car). We think this does it, but we've still got some time for testing :p

Do you add any new achievements based on those stats? Like "beat wave 1000 in 30s" or "get 1000 :timecube: per hour"?

We haven't changed the achievements in this update but it's something we may consider doing in another update.

Fastest runs to beat a certain wave is freaking awesome! Time to really put on the theorycrafting hat and try out builds!
Will there be a leaderboard for showing the fastest times?

I can follow that thought for the first two samples.
Take the two samples, add the cubes dropped, take the time between those 2 drops and scale it for an hour.
But what happens when we get sample #3? Will it sum up #1 + #2 + #3 and take the time from #1 to #3? Or will it take #2 + #3 and the time between those, so basically always only the latest 2 drops?

I cannot tell which could be better or which i would personally prefer. In the end it all boils down to the possible comparison to see "Oh crap, my ratio is dropping, initiate emergency warp!"

What happens to the waves we skipped with the starting wave?
    Will they be " " (blank), "00:00" or "--:--"?

And does the savegame code already contain these information and we will see the stats retroactively for our whole playtime since beginning or will it start to track them starting with the patch?
Do we need to pair the game and appear on the leaderboard to get the stats?

Overall it already looks pretty awesome! That's exactly the information I always wanted to be able to compare from timeline to timeline without having to track them manually and/or pair my game for the statistics and graphs here ;) You are awesome!!!

It will only use the last 2 drops, so when you get your 3rd stat, it would take 2 &n 3 and completely forget about 1.

Let's say you start on wave 101, then it just gets ignored for the Best Wave 100 stat.

Nope majority of the stats won't be retro-active, they'll start being tracked/populate when we release the update. These stats are tied to the game so no need to pair to Time Gamers or appear on the leaderboard.

Update 1.4.1 was just approved & released on iOS. So when we release update 1.4.2 tomorrow we'll send it to iOS which means you should have it in about 1 week.

Just a heads up, since we've added some new stats for update 1.4.2 there will be some compatibility issues between iOS and all other platforms. It just means that you'll lose your stats on the new Timeline Summary Screen if you play between iOS & other platforms until iOS gets the 1.4.2 update.

The only platform I play this on is mobile, so compatibility is not an issue. Also, thanks to the latest update, the app runs much more smoothly. No worries on that front.
