Friday Update: Player Optimizations

    We were back to focusing on performance this week.

    We optimized the Player Animation CPU usage and made the Dynamic Lighting on players/objects more efficient.

    Hey! I played in the latest update, and the performance seems a bit better than before (can't tell exactly because my pc specifications are better than before), but I noticed some weird things. A lot of times I couldn't pick red cubes collectibles (I had no lag, my ping was the same as always). Same happened when trying to bring cubes to a capture point, and it wasn't only me, other players at the same time experienced this too. Maybe it was server lag, but it's weird because the shots did damage instantly and kills occurred as always.

    Yeah, that was server lag. It only happens sometimes and we know why it happens, but can't change it quite yet. We will make this better over time.
